What is human trafficking?
Human trafficking, also known as modern-day slavery, is the transportation and sale of human beings for sexual exploitation. It is estimated that more than 800,000 people are trafficked every year and 27 million people around the world are presently living in slavery. More than half of trafficking victims are women and children. Victims of human trafficking are most commonly forced, deceived, abducted, or sold by their families, transported and then sold into slavery. The world is slowly waking up to this modern-day slavery and seeking ways to fight it.
Is Crowned Free a for-profit organization?
Yes, Crowned Free is a for-profit business with a focus on giving back to organizations that are working with rescued women. Crowned Free’s passion is not only for fashion, but to raise awareness and empower the women that have been rescued from human trafficking.
How does Crowned Free give back?
Crowned Free gives back in two ways. We partner with organizations that employ those who have been rescued and/or teach them a trade. Many of Crowned Free’s products are made exclusively by rescued women here in the US and overseas. Crowned Free also gives back financially to local and global organizations that focus solely on rescuing, restoring and rebuilding lives.
How can I join the Crowned Free tribe?
You can sign up on-line to become a Crowned Free Representative at www.crownedfree.com/join. Once you become a Representative, Crowned Free will mail your starter kit and all the tools and training to get your business off to a successful start!
I don't live in the US. Can I still be a representative?
Can I sell Crowned Free products in a retail store?
Absolutely! When you sell Crowned Free you have multiple avenues to run your business and sell our products! You earn 9–15% commissions on Wholesale Orders and 25–30% commission on Retail Orders (Pop–Up Shops, Catalog Parties, Events, Individual Orders, etc).
How can I be sure that Crowned Fee is making monthly charitable donations to anti-trafficking organizations?
Crowned Free commits 15% of the net proceeds from the sales of our collection every month to an anti-trafficking organization. We share and tag each of these organizations on our social media channels so our followers can learn more about who they are supporting with their purchases and also create another level of transparency. We also give back by employing survivors to make over half of our products which are made here in the US and around the world. We work with organizations we personally have connections with who have fair labor practices. That’s of utmost importance to us! Our products are being made here in the US, Cambodia, Vietnam, Nepal, South Africa, Asia, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, Israel–literally all around the world! We work with mostly small artisan groups who create our products for us. We also started a program with local survivors in our home town of Grand Rapids, MI who make our candles and pillows for us. Can I sell online?
Yes! Your personal website store is open 24/7 online, so customers can shop anytime! Selling online is a fantastic way to add incremental sales to existing Pop-Up Shops, sell to customers outside of a Pop-Up Shop and market your business.
Are there any monthly fees?
Crowned Free Tribe members are charged a monthly fee of $10.99 that covers your personal website hosting, email communications suite and other technology expenses associated with your personal business. Your first month is free.
Is there a minimum I need to sell to remain a Crowned Free Representative?
No, we do not have any monthly sales minimums. If you choose to build a Tribe, we ask Tribe Leaders to lead by example, and therefore we do require that you submit at least $500 PV in retail sales in one month to receive your downline commission check. All Representatives need to submit a minimum of $500 in PV in retails sales in a rolling six-month period to remain an active Representative.
What products does Crowned Free offer?
Crowned Free offers a wide variety of woman’s fashions and accessories including hats, scarfs, purses, shirts, bottoms, dresses, notecards and jewelry.
I represent another direct selling company. Can I also become a Crowned Free Representative?
Yes, you may represent any other direct selling company.
Can I sell to Retail locations only?
You sure can. We encourage you to sell using all the available options though! Now you can make an impact and income by selling Crowned Free at Pop–Up Shops, Events, Online Parties, Individual Orders, and Wholesale to Retail Partners!
AFFILIATE FAQ
Can an Affiliate sponsor team members?
As an Affiliate, you cannot earn commissions from your team sales. You do however earn a referral bonus of $50 in Retail Product Credit for every personally sponsored Stylist or Affiliate that joins your team and submits $500 in accumulative Retail Sales in their first 90 days.
Do I earn Fast Start Rewards?
Absolutely! As an Affiliate, you earn $30 in Retail Product Credit for every $500 in Personal Retail Sales you submit in your first 90 days.
How do I redeem Retail Product Credit?
Once you’ve earned Be Bright Bonus Bucks (Retail Product Credit), you will be notified via email that they’ve been deposited into your Sky Wallet and ready for you to redeem in your back office!
How and when am I paid?
Crowned Free will pay commissions via ACH directly into your bank account on the 4th and 16th of the month. Please note that if the 4th or 16th falls on a weekend, commissions will be processed the next business day.
Can I switch my account from Affiliate to Stylist?
How much do I earn as an Affiliate?
- 15% Commission on all Personal Sales
- 17% Commission on all Personal Sales when you sell $1,000 in a month (2% monthly bonus)
- 20% Commission on all Personal Sales when you sell $1,500 in a month (5% monthly bonus)
Can I order products at a discount?
Yes! You can purchase products at an Affiliate 15% discount when you place a Personal Order in your back office.
Is there a monthly fee?
As an Affiliate, you will be charged a monthly website fee of $5.99 with your first full month being free. You may cancel your account anytime by emailing [email protected].
Are there any sales minimums?
Nope. Affiliates do not have any monthly, quarterly, or yearly sales minimums.
